JUDGE DECLARES LAWSUIT TO RECOVER COSTS FROM SHORT-LIVED TOLLS "MOOT"

The judge in the legal case brought to eliminate Sakonnet tolls, and recover costs connected to the fight, has declared the case "moot" since the tolls have been eliminated (link below).

Unless there is an appeal of the judge's ruling that the case is now moot, this should be the final chapter in the legal case over Sakonnet River Bride Tolls. Hopefully we can soon see the structures installed to collect tolls removed as well.
